Loss Prevention

The American Club Members and the Managers are committed to claims prevention through survey compliance, dissemination of claims prevention information, and providing training tools and guidance to Members. It is our goal and objective to provide our members with relevant and up-to-date claims prevention tools and information as part of the service provided to Club Members through:

o Accident prevention Loss Prevention Posters

o Reports from IMO: Maritime Safety Committee and Marine Environmental Protection Committee 

Seafarers employed aboard American Club entered vessels who originate from Bulgaria, India, Indonesia, Latvia, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Russia and Ukraine must comply with the Club’s requirements as outlined at  Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME) or be subject to a double-retention deductible for illness claims.
