Sustainability principles connected to Environmental, Social, and Governance parameters have always been strategically embedded in the core purpose and processes of the American P&I Club as a mutual not-for-profit marine insurer, as well as in all its management operational, departmental procedures. This is enhanced by the role the Club plays within the International Group of P&I Clubs framework.

Building on the inaugural report issued in 2021, the American P&I Club's 2025 Sustainability Report details and illustrates its activities and progress since that time, particularly with respect to the UN Global Compact SDG Action Manager by reference to the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
